Dr. Pierre Bushel is a bioinformatician, computational biologist, and biomedical data scientist with leadership experience spanning academia, biotechnology, pharmaceutical research, and the U.S. federal government.
He holds a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics from North Carolina State University, an M.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Long Island University-Brooklyn, and a B.S. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Dr. Bushel has served as manager, head, lead, and senior director of bioinformatics teams and held adjunct faculty appointments at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, Duke University, and North Carolina Central University.
